Frequently asked questions
For the residential format we recommend bringing the following:
Sportswear
Football kit (football and futsal boots, shin pads), sports socks, training clothes and sports shoes for the gym.
Everyday clothes
Comfortable clothes for activities and excursions, a hoodie and long trousers for the evenings and the accommodation, and comfortable walking shoes.
Pool and aquatic activities
Swimsuit, towel, flip-flops and sun cream.
Personal hygiene
A complete wash bag with all personal toiletries, shampoo, shower gel, deodorant and toothpaste.
Rest
Pyjamas and any personal item that helps with sleeping.
Technology
We recommend not bringing tablets, games consoles or other electronic devices, as there will be no time or moments to use them. A mobile phone should be brought, but it will be kept by the camp staff and handed over once a day during the time set aside for calls home.
Other
Personal documents, any regular medication (informing the camp team in advance), and some money for the official shop or other personal expenses.
Residential camps run from Sunday to Friday. Arrivals are on Sunday afternoon at the residences, or at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano for Summer Splash. Check exact times and locations on each programme’s page. Departure takes place at the sports facilities at 19:00, after the closing ceremony. An extra transfer service is available to pick up and/or take participants to the airport. The Atleti Pro Stage programme includes this service.
Yes. The training, activities and materials are fully adapted to the participants’ age. We work with reduced ratios, camp staff specialised in introductory coaching and activities designed specifically for boys and girls aged 4 to 6, prioritising learning through play and motor coordination.
The Little Reds and Whites camp is offered in the half day format (9:00-14:00), perfect for the youngest players. It includes adapted activities, a mid-morning snack and an optional shower.
The Little Reds and Whites programme (ages 4 to 6) runs only on the official dates and venues published for each edition. It is not possible to switch to other weeks or periods outside the established schedule.
Little Reds and Whites is the Atlético de Madrid Academy Camp programme for the youngest players: boys and girls from the age of 4. A first red-and-white experience designed specifically for their age, with adapted activities, specialist camp staff and all the magic of Atlético de Madrid. It takes place in Alcalá and Majadahonda on specific dates.
